Does it hurt? Most patients find the treatment relaxing and very comfortable. Our clients describe the treatment as “feeling like a warm blanket or hot stone massage.”
What happens to the fat? Vanquish Me uses radio frequency to heat up fat cells to 42-44 degrees C. At this temperature, fat cells go into a state called Apoptosis, which means they are permanently killed off. The fat leaves the body through the lymphatic system.
How many inches will I loose? The number of inches varies depending on how much fat is present and the patient’s overall lifestyle. The average person loses up 2 -4 inches after a series of 4 treatments. However, some patients loose up to 5 inches after a series of 4 treatments.
When will I see results? Visible results vary from person to person. Some patients see results immediately after their first treatment, while some see results within a week. Most patients can expect to see results a couple of weeks after their final treatment.
Is there any downtime? There is NO DOWN TIME with Vanquish treatments. Other than a brief period of warmth and some minor redness, you can get back to your daily routine immediately.
What do I need to do before my appointment? You are not required to do anything special prior to your treatment session with one exception – be sure to arrive at your appointment very well hydrated. You should drink half your body weight in ounces, before and after your treatment to help improve lymphatic drainage. We also encourage light physical activity after your treatment to help increase lymphatic drainage.
How often will I need Vanquish treatment? Most patients need a series of 4-6 weekly treatments. However, during your complimentary consultation we will discuss your specific needs and desired outcome.
