Restylane-L™ is the number 1 dermal filler in the USA and world wide. It was the first cosmetic dermal filler made from hyaluronic acid that has been modified slightly to last longer than the body's hyaluronic acid, also includes Lidocaine. In the human body natural hyaluronic acid provides volume and fullness to the skin. FDA approved.

  • No anesthesia is required. However, the practitioner may choose to numb the area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream. Discomfort is usually minimal and brief.

Prior to Treatment

  • No allergy test is needed.
  • Prior to treatment patients should avoid asprin, non-sterodial anti-inflammatory medications, St. John's Wort, or high doses of Vitamin E supplements, because these may increase bruising or bleeding at the injection site.

After Treatment

  • During the first 48 hours after your treatment, do not massage or rub the treated area. If you have had a lip enhancement, avoid puckering your lips for the first two days after the treatment. Until the initial swelling and redness have resolved, do not expose the treated area to intense heat (e.g. in a solarium or by sunbathing) or extreme cold.
